The March For Our Lives 2022 - Washington DC + Nationwide

We protested in DC to demand action from our elected officials.

We marched along with thousands of people around the world, demanding that our elected officials take action after multiple acts of gun violence, including the mass shooting at Tops Friendly Market in Buffalo and the school shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas.

This was our largest march since our founding in 2018, with over 70,000 people and 400+ sibling marches nationwide.

We met with 70+ offices in 2022.

Ahead of our historic second march, our activists lobbied their representatives in DC to support commonsense gun legislation.

Our Policy Priorities

Introduction of Historic Bipartisan Legislation

Just one day after we marched, Senator Chris Murphy announced a bipartisan gun reform package with the support of 10 Republicans.

1st Federal Law on Gun Safety in 25+ Years

After passing through the Senate and House of Representatives, President Biden signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act into law.

20+ State Laws Passed (and counting)

Since we marched in 2022, 20 state laws have passed that hold gun manufacturers accountable, restrict advertising of firearms, and ban assault weapons.

Thousands of New Activists Engaged and Ready

We activated thousands of new organizers who are helping us get out the youth vote, pass more legislation, and secure funding for community solutions.

A national movement.

Our team organized, marched, and rallied in 400+ cities nationwide.

We marched in 2018 and 2022, and we’ll continue to demand action from our elected officials and leaders until not one more life is lost to senseless gun violence.

We have multiple ways to accomplish that mission, from lobbying on the hill and in our states, developing art installations nationwide, invigorating the youth vote, and even organizing 400+ marches nationwide.
