RuQuan Brown

RuQuan Brown is a junior at Harvard University, who had no idea that he’d be attending Harvard just 5 years ago. Growing up between Seattle, Dallas, and DC, RuQuan experienced many challenges from gun violence to domestic violence that have developed his resiliency. He also has used football as a platform to speak about what’s important as football was often a part of why he went viral. RuQuan started a clothing line, Love1, after his teammate and step dad were killed during his high school years. Love1 has donated thousands of dollars to One Gun Gone and families in our communities that are impacted by gun violence. RuQuan has been heavily involved with March For Our Lives – a former member of our Youth Congress and most recently, a dedicated spokesperson on behalf of the organization.
